Ajax under 19 has won the mini derby versus archrival Feyenoord. In Rotterdam, the Ajax youngsters managed by John Heitinga scored three times. 0-3.

Feyenoord started the match, which was played in the Kuip, flying. After 10 minutes Wouter Burger fired a ball into orbit from a promising position. A few minutes later Ajax goalie Raatsie rescued Ajax with a phenomenal save after a header by Feyenoord.

Ajax got a few little chances but the next massive chance was, again, for Feyenoord. A shot by Burger after a corner was saved from the line by one of his teammates (?!) And after that Burger struck the crossbar. Just before half-time, Feyenoord player Bannis scored but his goal was disallowed due to him being offside.

A different second half

After all these chances it wasn’t Feyenoord who took the lead but Ajax. It was a Feyenoord player who scored the goal, though. In the 65th minute Sem Valk worked the ball into his own goal after a cross by Pynadath: 0-1.

In the 75th minute, Ajax doubled their lead. A great attack via Sontje Hansen and Naci Ünüvar ended up with Tunahan Tasci who found the back of the net. The 17-year-old winger celebrated his goal by taking off his shirt. He had already gotten a yellow card earlier so that meant his second yellow and the end of his match.

Even with a man down, Ajax continued to score, only 5 minutes later Naci Ünüvar scored the 0-3. He curled the ball perfectly in the far corner from the edge of the penalty area.

Red cards

In the dying minutes of the game, Ajax player Max de Waal and Feyenoord midfielder Wouter Burger got into a fight which resulted in red cards for both of them. The match ended 10 vs 9 in players and 0 vs 3 in goals.
