Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to add Donny van de Beek to his Manchester United squad, according to ESPN.
Things haven’t been going great this season at the red side of Manchester and the Norwegian manager Solskjaer has stated that he wants reinforcements in the winter. After they failed to sign Erling Haaland their sights have now switched to Donny van de Beek, sources have told ESPN.
They view Donny van de Beek as a great addition to the squad since they need attacking midfielders. Especially his ability to contribute goals has been noticed by the Reds. His young age also makes him desirable, he has a lot of potential to grow and develop at Old Trafford.
Marc Overmars of Ajax has already stated previously that in principle no Ajax player will leave in the winter. But we all know that money talks louder than words and money is one thing Manchester United has enough of. We’ll keep you updated.
Ajax is already working on getting a replacement for Donny van de Beek, as discussed in the article linked below.
