According to de Telegraaf both Ajax and PSV are interested in Manchester City left-back Angeliño. The left-back was bought by PSV in the summer of 2018 but after a good season in Eindhoven, Manchester City bought him back last summer. This season he only played a few games in Manchester.

“It’s no surprise that Ajax is interested in Angelino. The scouting had the chance to see him play on a weekly basis last season and he had a great season at PSV. The club is expecting Nicolas Tagliafico to leave after the season and therefore Angelino is a logical option. Lisandro Martinez was already bought last summer to replace Tagliafico on the moment he would leave Amsterdam but Martinez is doing a great job on the midfield and therefore Ajax want someone else for the left-back position.” says de Telegraaf.

Normally, Angeliño prefers to go back to PSV since he played there before but Ajax has more money and therefore more power to act. “The value of Tagliafico is estimated to be around 40 million euro. Marc Overmars hopes that half of that, 20 million euro, will be enough to bring Angeliño to Amsterdam.

Last year, Angeliño played a really strong for PSV in which he played 43 matches. He scored one goal and had 13 assists. This season he doesn’t get to much playing time at Manchester City. However, in November he did play the full 90 minutes against Southampton and Liverpool in the Premier League and against Shaktar Donetsk in the Champions League.
