Chelsea will be traveling to Amsterdam without N’Golo Kante and Ross Barkley according to the Chelsea website.
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard will have to face Ajax without Ross Barkley who turned his ankle against Newcastle United last Saturday. Barkley joins N’Golo Kante, who sustained a groin injury on International Duty with France, on the injured list.
Also missing were Andreas Christensen, who Lampard has said will be out for a couple of weeks, and long-term absentee Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Toni Rudiger and Emerson did show their face on today’s training session but both players are most likely not fit enough to play in tomorrow’s game.
The Blues will fly to Amsterdam later today and on arrival, Lampard and one of his players will be speaking to the media from the Johan Cruyff Arena.
