In the Netherlands, top sporters are allowed to train again, provided they comply with very strict conditions. On Wednesday morning De Toekomst, Ajax’ training complex, opened its doors again. The first squad trained in trios.
This is the first group training the Ajax players have had since the 15th of March, over a month ago. In the meantime, the players had to train at home, alone.
In the morning, 6 players of the first team had training. They were divided into 2 groups. Daley Blind, Perr Schuurs, and Joël Veltman trained together on the main field and Donny van de Beek, Dusan Tadic and Razvan Marin did exercises together on another field.
Around noon there was a change and 6 other Ajax players had training. They were also split up. Carel Eiting, Lisandro Martínez, and Jurriën Timber formed one group, while Quincy Promes, Lassina Traoré, and Danilo trained together.
