It seems like the revalidation of Joël Veltman is progressing. The defender showed a video on his personal Instagram of him back on the training pitch, with a ball!
Joël Veltman got injured in the won PSV game back in early February. A knee injury meant that he had to undergo surgery, which was successful. The revalidation period is estimated to be around two months, so Veltman is roughly halfway through.
If he doesn’t experience any setbacks we can expect the experienced defender back in action around the beginning of April, just in time for the last few matches of the Eredivisie.
Veltman was a mainstay in Ajax’ defence until he got injured. He featured in 30 of the 33 matches before his injury.
