Correspondents of UEFA have drafted a list of 50 young talents who they expect will make a big impression in 2020. Noa Lang has managed to secure a spot on the list.
UEFA calls him a fast, confident winger who’s good in tight spaces. They also name the fact that he’s the first Ajax player to score a hattrick on his debut since 1959.
Noa Lang has come into the picture of Ajax’ first team late 2019. Injuries of David Neres and Zakaria Labyad meant a lot of playing time for the 20-year-old winger. In 9 games for the first team Noa Lang has scored 4 goals so far.
Ajax targets on the list
AZ players Calvin Stengs and Myron Boadu also feature on the list. They are considered two of the biggest Dutch talents at the moment. There have been rumours going around that Ajax is very interested in both of them.
Former Ajax-target Diego Lainez is another familiar name on the list. Ajax was very close to signing the Mexican winger in the winter of 2018 but all of sudden he made a move to Spanish side Real Betis.
