Ajax has offered Dest an extended and upgraded contract this summer, but the defender has refused it. According to Mike Verweij, because he wants to move to an European top club.
One of those European top clubs has now made a move for Sergiño Dest, as we reported earlier today. Bayern Munich has offered €15 million for Dest, an offer which Ajax has refused. Overmars wants at least €20 million + €5 million in bonuses for the defender.
