Erik ten Hag gave an update on the injury of Quincy Promes. He’s not hopeful about him making the clash versus AZ. De Telegraaf reports that he’s still training separately from the group.
Erik ten Hag said the following on Friday: “We can’t say with 100% confidence that he won’t be there on Sunday, but we don’t have much faith in it.”
Two weeks ago Promes got injured in the match versus FC Twente. The calf-injury has kept him on the sidelines for the two following matches. Both were lost (0-2 vs Willem II and 0-1 vs Valencia).
