Another day, another match. On Saturday Ajax faces VVV-Venlo, on paper an easy opponent. Who will Erik ten Hag field to take the three points back home to Amsterdam? All About Ajax with a prediction.

Ajax played a great game against Liverpool on Wednesday night but was left empty-handed in the end. Another disappointment was the loss of Mohammed Kudus. On Thursday, it turned out that the Ghanaian has a meniscus injury and that he will be out of the squad for several months.

Kudus, Gravenberch and Klaassen seemed to form the ideal midfield, but that trio won’t be able anymore. Against Liverpool, Antony wasn’t there either, but he seems to have recovered considering Friday’s training images. He seems to be able to play against VVV Venlo again. Antony and Neres can take the flanks again.

Last weekend Ten Hag opted for Traoré as a striker and the coach could make that choice again this weekend. Tadic as a CAM and Klaassen and Gravenberch will fill the other two positions in midfield.

Expected line-up Ajax: Onana; Mazraoui, Schuurs, Blind, Tagliafico; Klaassen, Gravenberch, Tadic; Antony, Traoré, Neres.
